TERMIDOR

Termidor termiticide is a remarkable termite control product from a new class of chemicals. In

In general, Ticks cannot survive on regularly mowed lawns.  Neighborhoods with mowed lawn
adjoining mowed lawn have a very low risk of ticks. The annual application of lawn insect
control, by homeowner or professional, is normally sufficient. However, yards that include or are
adjacent to wooded areas require additional treatments.
In the early 1990's when Lyme Disease became more well known the Entomology Department
of Rutgers University, led by the late Dr. Louis Vasvary, researched and designed a treatment
for ticks. This same design is recommended by The Center for Disease Control (CDC). This is
the very same approach utilized by Merlin's Pest Control and consists of a spring and fall
treatment to the 'edge' of the lawn where the wooded area starts. This is where ticks
congregate. The spring application concentrates on tree trunk and branches up to 10 feet high.
The ticks are climbing up trees to drop on a target as soon as possible after the winter. The fall
application concentrates on the ground and the 'leaf litter' as the ticks will be searching for safe
winter hideaways.
