I think the whole Hank Williams owning it once is a needless distraction. Instead, he continued to live at his house at 4916 Franklin Road in Nashville.
It was almost like being in the queens palace but yet feeling like you could wear your sweatpants and eat on the carpet., One of the more active rooms of the house was the kitchen.

The Heritage Foundation of Williamson County, a non-profit preservation organization, is assisting the new owners in decision making and is maintaining that there is no threat of imminent demolition in a joint statement released on November 8th, 2022 by the property owners and the Heritage Foundation. Hank Williams, Sr. purchased this property at the height of his career in 1951, but sadly died just two years later at the age of 29.
In October of 1952, Hank Williams sold the The Farm property including Beechwood Hall to J. Truman Ward and Mary Maurice Ward for $28,500less than half of the $60,000 he had paid for the property.

The could have put a conservation easement on it, donated to land trust, made the sale contingent on the preservation of the main home.they did not. Heres hoping for the preservation of Beechwood Hall. Its not an important symbol of hatred or slavery to a good portion of people, its just a structure.

Mary Pearce, who is a former director of the Heritage Foundation of Williamson County and local preservationist says, I have talked to the owner, and he has told me that he is not willing to commit to preserving the house.
If someone buys the property, they can do what they want.
So for some reason, because the house is not part of a subdivision and resides on private property, there is no real protection for it.

Contrary to misinformation that is being published, no historical items have been placed in any burn pile and there is no scheduled demolition. The new owner planned to restore the home, but eventually changed their mind.
I think our current system of granting status based on the whims of a board and public opinion then doing nothing but curtailing the rights of property owners is the worst of both worlds.
This appears to be untrue. Friends say Richey is talking to auction houses like Sothebys to sell many of Wynettes belongings. It had been the home of Hank Williams Sr. Turns out this particular version of Tucker was just what the gig called for. Our architect proposed many conceptual renderings respecting our joint desire to make the potential new house closely resemble the original Beechwood Hall with its beautiful front porches. The full might of our resources and many talented partners is being put into this plan, which we have been working diligently on for weeks. There is an ongoing effort to preserve a historic Williamson County property called Beechwood Hall. Yes, its only sticks and mortar, but she is Tennessees history and the original builders are not here to rebuild what is being destroyed!
Tucker is on record saying that when he was on that show Crossfire, he was bought and paid for. 9).

Beechwood Halls ties to the country music world werent severed after Williams death. 7:48 pm. I have personally driven to the Franklin Ave house just to see it. The only thing I can offer is to metal detect the property and anything found of value to be sold or auctioned at a charitable event to raise money to go towards the restoration.
How that has anything to do with a Michigan attention hog.
To consolidate a call to action to our political leaders for a change in the laws that would not allow these destructive behaviors.
